School can be hard enough with quizzes, tests, homework, sports, friends, and trying to get everything done on time. Now your teacher wants you to stand up and present a book report, or a presentation on your project, or recite the Gettysburg Address in front of the whole class. There's just one problem: you hate talking in front of the class.

Believe it or not, your report, presentation, or recitation can be one of the most fun projects for school. It's normal to be nervous about talking in front of a group. It's also normal to be unsure about what to say, or how to say it. Many adults, even trained professionals like lawyers, have these same issues when they stand up to speak. But the sooner you get the right training, the sooner it will be easy, and you'll be able to help others.

Ad Hoc Presentations is not a tutoring service. Instead, we are your personal coach - we work for you. If, like a lot of people, you've always found it hard to talk in front of a group, we can help you with those skills and give you some of the secrets of presenting to an audience. If you have a particular project that you need help figuring out how to put together, or what to say, we can help you with that too. If you need help remembering and practicing a speech or presentation, we can help you there. By the time the teacher calls your name to stand up and talk, you'll feel ready, and even better, you'll be ready.
